I’m a licensed cosmetologist from Indianapolis who loves lace, peonies, dark chocolate, natural curls, and love stories. I have been styling hair for weddings, styled shoots, proms, formals, and more since 2008. I was trained at the Aveda Fredric’s Institute in Indianapolis, and I have won Best of Weddings awards from Zola and from theKnot.com every year that I’ve been on each platform, earning the Hall of Fame designation from the Knot beginning in 2022 and every year since.

I am truly a formal hairstyling specialist. I exclusively style hair for formal events (I don’t offer haircuts or color), all of my advanced training is in formal styling, and I’m licensed as an on-location hairstylist with the State of Indiana (mobile license MB32100031). My passion and full focus is making sure that the most photographed formal hairstyle you’ll ever wear is created perfectly for you.

My philosophy has always been rooted in the idea that your hair should fit you as an individual. If there’s one day to style yourself exactly as you want, it’s your wedding. I know what it’s like to leave a salon feeling that the hair is pretty, but just not you. That’s why every bridal style includes a preview, and any other style can have a preview added. I’ll help you find a style that makes you feel like the most radiant version of yourself – while still looking and feeling like you. 

I’m the stylist for the Type A bride who understands that having a vision doesn’t make someone a bridezilla. I love a good itinerary, and I empathize with those who feel most at peace knowing details now rather than waiting until the month of the wedding (we’ll go over all the details again then, too!). I’m also the stylist for the Type B bride who wants someone who can create the structure she doesn’t want to spend her free creative energy on. I’m all about peaceful energy, no stressful surprises, and creating space for you to soak in the sweetness of your day.  As hyped as I am for you, hype girl isn’t my role. If you ask my former brides about my wedding day vibes, “calming presence” comes up frequently. There is a LOT of excitement on a wedding morning. I’m here to help you feel relaxed, confident, grounded, and beautiful on a morning that can otherwise become chaotic and stressful. When I’m not styling hair, I love spending time with my husband and our three children, going on walks with our dog, reading, listening to Taylor Swift and true crime podcasts, and discovering new foods and restaurants.
