Learn with Laura!
Hands-on Styling: Have you ever wanted to master a particular style, but needed a bit more instruction? You can now book Laura to learn her tried and true techniques, tips, and tricks. In addition to in-person instruction, each student will receive a written guide for the style(s) taught, that includes all of the tools, products, and steps required to achieve the look.
$100/hour for individual lessons
$125/hour for small group lessons (2-4 people)
Bridal Business Consulting: For the stylists who are looking for coaching on running, growing, and streamlining their bridal beauty entreprenurial venture. Laura has built a successful independent business as a sought-after wedding hairstylist throughout Indiana, and she loves to mentor other entrepreneurs so they can feel confident in their own business decisions. Can be scheduled as a one-time meeting or planned out through the year depending on the level of support desired.
$70/hour, pro-rated by half hour
Location
I can come to your studio for either a group or 1:1 hands-on styling lesson (at no charge within the 465 loop and Hamilton County; travel fees applied outside of this radius), or you can come to me at at Ciao Bella Salon in Fishers.
For business consults, let’s grab lunch, coffee, or talk over video – whatever fits your needs best!
Models
Student(s) can bring any model of their choice, or I am happy to source a model for the lesson if that’s preferred. I don’t have any limitations on who can model for classes provided that they have long enough hair for the style(s) you wish to learn. I do recommend having a live model rather than a mannequin for hands-on styling lessons.
Timing
I recommend at least 2 hours for a hands-on styling lesson, as this is typically the right amount of time to thoroughly cover a particular style, and I’m happy to add time to that if a student wants to cover multiple looks in a lesson or plan for multiple lessons over various days.
For consults, I recommend 1 hour as a good starting point, depending on what all you wish to cover during our meeting.
Reserving Your training
I ask for the first hour of hands-on lesson time to be paid as a deposit to reserve the time and date, and then the remainder of the lesson amount is due no later than 1 week prior to the lesson date, payable by cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, or card. For consults, deposits are 50% of the booked meeting time.
